OMAR RAMADHANI.Digital product designer & builder.

I coordinate student operations — and build the software that runs them. Four this year: two in daily use at the college, two live for clients.

How I work

Five stages, no hand-waving.

01

Understand the real problem or idea

Not from an intake meeting — from how the work actually happens.

02

Decide how the product should work

The important decisions first: what it refuses, routes, and protects.

03

Design the experience

For the person under time pressure, not the demo.

04

Build and validate

Working software over mockups; tested where a mistake hurts someone.

05

Launch and prepare for real use

Documentation and handover, so it keeps working without me.

About

I'm Omar, based in Venlo. I came up in the youth academy at VVV-Venlo, studied IT & Data Science, and added Social Work alongside it two ways of looking at the same problem. Today I coordinate student operations at a residential college, and I build the software that runs them.

I don't work from a brief. The systems I build come out of problems I ran into myself — which is why they hold up once a real operation starts leaning on them.
